The objective was to address a challenge that all users face, transcending age and diverse demographic groups. In today's modern society, preferences and technological literacy levels vary widely. However, almost everyone has to manage their finances. Whether it's a daily occurrence or a monthly task, handling money necessitates a significant level of trust in one's banking institution.
In bustling urban environments, the pace at which both cities and their patrons operate sets them apart from more localised establishments. Often, expediting the checkout process is mutually beneficial for both customers and businesses. For users, this translates to enhanced flexibility, especially concerning time management. Simultaneously, restaurants stand to gain from quicker table turnover and optimised staff utilisation.
My initiation into the field of UX began with a practical exercise within the first stages of Google UX Design course. The challenge involved devising a solution for a bustling metropolitan café branch, where customers encountered issues such as extended wait times for their take-away beverages and the complexities of managing batch orders.
Hey! My name is Andrea, I'm a designer from Prague, CZ currently based in London, UK. I'm open to exciting opportunities that align with my passion for design in the UK and across the EU.
There are two sides of me. One I like to call Life-long fascinated observer of human complexities and the other one is The quiet one scribbling.
One needs to create, produce and tell stories, the other is a quiet listener, empath and analyst. While they’re both different and seemingly in contradiction, they both led me to design. Taking turn in leadership and collaborating, they challenge me to deliver ideas, solutions and designs that not only serve users, but bring joy and beauty to their lives.
I've been designing for people for over a decade. Design thinking, user research, crafting user journeys, cross-team collaboration with engineers, managers, and various supporting roles have been integral to my daily work.
My background in architecture and interiors has sharpened my empathy and understanding of challenges found at the intersection of concept-making, economic and technical feasibility, and user psychology.
Embracing UX Design represents a natural progression in my design evolution, one that I'm enthusiastic to be a part of as it brings positive transformations in people's lives.
